The Reserve Officer Training Course (ROTC) is a program designed as a college elective. ROTC is focused on leadership development, problem solving, strategic planning and professional development.
ROTC is a training function of the United States Armed Forces present at college campuses throughout America, and produces 60% of all officers in the Armed Forces and 75% of U.S. Army officers.
ROTC also offers merit-based scholarships to those enrolled in the program, also known as cadets. These scholarships are competitive with other scholarships availalbe, often covering full tuition costs for college.
