Assistive Technology Information

North Idaho College offers assisitve technology  (AT) software training such as: Kurzweil (screen reading and editing software), Dragon Naturally Speaking (voice recognition software), Zoom Text ( screen enlargement software), JAWS ( screen reader software), RFB&D (Vicror vibe and Dolphin audio book software) and continued support in order to accommodate and provide equal access to students.

Documentation verifying the need for the use of assistive technology for accommodations is required and must be submitted to Ty Caraway.  Review and approval of an accommodation is made by the Director of Center for Educational Access. Request for assistive technology must be made every semester the student is enrolled at NIC.
