Blackboard Learn is NIC's online learning management system. Use Blackboard for Internet, Hybrid, and Web-Enhanced classes.

Blackboard Mobile Learn application for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Access course materials, discussions, announcements, and notifications on a mobile device

Blackboard Collaborate

Used by: Faculty, Students, and Staff

Blackboard Collaborate provides two-way audio, multi-point video, interactive whiteboard, application and desktop sharing, rich media, breakout rooms, and session recording. Educators and students can engage as if they were in a traditional classroom.

Access Collaborate: Using Blackboard Instant Messenger or any Blackboard Learn course.

Bb IM allows you to easily see who’s online and available so you can instantly communicate with peers, colleagues, and experts.  Bb IM allows you to connect instantly with others using audio, video, and text chat and to collaborate with others using the whiteboard, application sharing, and web touring tools.

Concourse a web-based syllabus creation and archival application. Use Concourse when creating, editing, or searching for a course syllabus.

  • Instructors will find a link to Concourse on the Bb Home tab on Blackboard.
  • Students will find a link to their course syllabus in the course site on Blackboard or on their instructor's directory page.

NIC Mobile is an application for both Android and the iOS operating system for Apple. Access campus maps, directory, courses list, Blackboard Mobile Learn, news, links to social networks, videos, photos, and emergency numbers with a link to school closures.
