Attention Summer Students: This Friday, May 3rd, is the deadline to submit all missing documents to be guaranteed an award for summer. Please check MyDocuments on your MyNIC account to view your missing items.

Summer Awards Summer semester is different from other semesters in that you must have remaining eligibility leftover from the 2012-2013 school year. There is no separate financial aid application for summer. Simply register for summer courses in April (check MyNIC for your personal registration time) and you'll be notified of your eligibility 2-3 weeks from the time you register.

Missed the March 15th priority deadline? There is still time to fill out your FAFSA:

Go to fafsa.ed.gov and login using your PIN. (Apply for or request a duplicate PIN at www.pin.ed.gov.)

Have you accepted loans?
Don't forget to complete your Loan Entrance Counseling and a Direct Loan Master Promissory Note at www.studentloans.gov. Funds from your loan may not be disbursed until Financial Aid receives these two items.

Do you need help getting tax information for verification purposes?
After July 15th, the Department of Education requires you either obtain a "tax return transcript" from the IRS or use the IRS Data Retrieval tool on the FAFSA. Click here for help.

Please note: if you choose to submit a tax transcript, you must also attach your W2's or Schedule C if you are self-employed.
