Paula Czirr
"Hello, I'm Paula Czirr, the Residence Life Manager. I'm originally from Superior, NE, but graduated from Peru State College, in Peru, NE. I've earned 20 years of experience in Residence Life. I really enjoy what Residence Life is all about. On the personal side, I really dig sports of all types - especially football & softball. I cheer for the Huskers on Saturday, and the Steelers on Sunday. I really enjoy taking in the College World Series - both baseball & softball, and have been known to sit and watch curling. I am totally thrilled when I can spend uninterrupted time with my family - partner Ty, our cat Sassy, and the dogs - Harrison, Larry & Jackson."
Resident Assistants
Taylor Beach - Senior Resident Assistant
"Hey All! My name is Taylor Beach and I am from Bozeman Montana. I'm from Bozeman Montana and my parents are still living there along with my two older sisters, Hillary and Elaine. :) I enjoy good company and doing anything fun as in sports, hiking, laughing and hanging out with friends, working out, playing board games, and much more … Basketball is my favorite sport but I enjoy playing and watching any and all sports. This will be my third year at NIC, and I am majoring in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement. This will be my second year as a Resident Assistant and I have enjoyed working for the residence hall. One thing that I love about NIC is that they offer many fun activities to do on campus (Rec Sports, Student Events, Outdoor Pursuits, etc.). I have had fun being involved in the activities available on campus. I can't wait to meet all of you and make many memories together this year!"
Arthur Putnam
"Hi my name is Arthur Putnam. I am from Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Bonners Ferry was pretty small so I had to find ways to entertain myself and have fun. When the weather was nice I would do outdoor activities like camping, hiking and my favorite mountain biking. On days that I was resting or the weather was not the greatest I would be inside programming or gaming. I love technology and love learning about it. I will be attending my second year at NIC. I am currently going for my degree in Computer Science and plan on transferring to a university at some point. When that day comes I’m going to miss NIC, especially the dorms. It’s a great place to live while going to school and you’ll make friends and memories that will last a life time! I’m looking forward to sharing some of those experiences with you guys! See you next year!"
Josy Wegner
"Hi everybody, I’m Josy Wegner. I was born here in Coeur d’Alene, but spent the majority of my life living in Ogden, Utah. This will be my second year at North Idaho College. I am currently undecided when it comes to my major, hopefully that will change this year! In my free time I love just being with my family and friends- they mean the world to me. I love the arts, and enjoy singing and listening to music, performing or watching others perform- whether on stage or in movies, reading books and occasionally trying to write my own. I also adore fashion: clothes, shoes, purses, makeup… anything girly really! I’m looking forward to this school year and to meeting all of you- please don’t hesitate to come say hi!"

Hello everyone!
My name is Gustave Lester and I am serving my first semester as an RA for Spring 2013. This is my second and final year at NIC, and boy I’m going to miss it! I am currently studying history, with the intention of one day teaching college level courses. I also spend a lot of my time participating in the NIC music and theatre department(s), as well as by serving as a senator on your student government (ASNIC). In my spare time I love to read, write, sing, act, and hang out with good friends (and drink tea when it’s available).
I can’t wait to meet all of you; this is going to be a great semester! Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need help, advice, or just want to chat!"
