American Indian Heritage Week

The American Indian Heritage Week consists of five days of events that share and celebrate the Native traditions with the general community.

The week long event includes story telling, arts and crafts vendors, demonstrations, traditional Native foods, the Inter-Tribal Show, and a family arts and crafts night.  All events are free to the community to enjoy aside from the Inter-Tribal Food Feast and Inter-Tribal show.

All events are held in the Edminster Student Union Building unless otherwise stated.

The Inter-Tribal Food Feast event is a lunch held in the Edminster Student Union Building featuring traditional Native food and is $6 a plate.

The Inter-Tribal Show is a show held in the Schuler Performing Arts Center and is $5 per ticket.  NIC students get free admission with student ID.

All proceeds from the Inter-Tribal Food Feast and Inter-Tribal Show events benefit the Che'nshish Scholarship and future AISA events and activities.
