Welcome to Financial Aid

Welcome New and Current Students to the North Idaho College Financial Aid Website. Every School Year Students are required to complete the Financial Aid Process (shown below).

The Process

Step 1.
Apply for Financial Aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). NIC's School Code is 001623.

Step 2.
Once your Application is Received by the Department of Education you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). THIS IS FOR YOUR RECORDS ONLY. NIC will receive your application shortly after you have received your SAR.

Step 3.
Some students are selected for Verification. If selected for Verification Students will be required to submit additional Documents. If not selected go on to step 4.

Step 4.
You will receive an Award Letter in the mail or you can print a copy from your NICOnline account. You are required to turn in a signed copy to the Financial Aid Office to accept desired aid.

Step 5.
There are additional steps to take if you accept any Loans or Work Study. Follow the links to complete steps.
