The Week That Was & The Week That Will Be
We opened this web page to share the news from the Office of Instruction, and to provide an opportunity for others to provide the feedback we need to continually improve how the office performs.
It has come to my attention (through this website's feedback loop) that my practice of using the term "Spring Crazies" is considered offensive or demeaning. I apologize if my use of the term made anyone uncomfortable.
However, this office remains committed to avoiding what I have been told is something of a historical phenomena on campus - a time of unrest and dispute, that usually happens during the Spring semester. In that effort, the Office of Instruction will continue its mission of identifying and quelling the latest rumors, sharing as much information as possible, and fostering an open dialogue across campus. We will continue the practice of devoting time in each Office of Instruction meeting to dealing with rumor control and monitoring the pulse of the campus. It is our hope that what has been a historical trend or an annual rite of passage - will disappear, and that a new tradition of celebrating success and a great work enrvironment will happen each Spring.
