Workforce Development

Workforce Development offers career or job-related courses to develop new skills for employment or upgrade current skills for job advancement. Classes are generally short term, credit-free, conveniently scheduled, and do not require lengthy preparation. New classes start weekly, all year. Easy registration is available, usually without transcript, grade, and academic or residential requirements. Classes are offered in instructor-led classrooms or online.

Workforce Training offers courses in the following subject areas:

Develop your business skills with classes such as Leadership, Management, Customer Service, Communication and Bookkeeping.

Computers and Technology
An array of computer courses are available in online or instructor led formats, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and QuickBooks.

EMT StudentsAllied Health and Emergency Serivces
Prepare for a career in these fast growing fields. Health-related courses include: Nurse Assistant Training (CNA);  Phlebotomy; Health Unit Coordinator; First Aid/CPR; Emergency Medical Technician-Basic and more.

Real Estate
Classes are offered to meet the licensing requirements for real estate salespersons in the states of Idaho and Washington.

Technical Skills - Apprenticeship
Classes are offered to develop new skills or meet licensing or compliance requirement, such as.  OSHA safety, Workzone Flagging, welding, electrician continuing education and  more. Related instruction is available for electrical, plumbing and HVAC apprentices.
