Admission Steps for
Dual Freshman Students
Welcome back to North Idaho College.
1. Update Your Records
Print and mail the application to the Admissions Office or submit the application online.
2. Apply for Financial Aid
You may qualify for financial assistance. Apply for financial aid and scholarships online at www.nic.edu/financialaid
3. Meet With an Advisor
Meet with an academic advisor if you need assistance with course selection. Call (208) 769-7821 to schedule an appointment.
4. Submit Transcripts
Request transcripts be sent to NIC from the high school you attended after graduation and your grades are posted. Transcripts are considered official if received in sealed envelope from the school. Request for Transcript Form
5. Submit Certificate of Residency
Submit a Certificate of Residency to your home county of record if you are not a Kootenai County resident.
6. Register for Classes
Register for classes using MyNIC. Check the college calendar for registration dates. Please allow 5 working days to process your record update information.
7. Pay Tuition
Pay by cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard. Payment can be made through MyNIC with a Visa, MasterCard, or debit card. More information ...
