Admission Steps for
Non-Degree Seeking Students

Application Deadlines – Summer 2012 is May 25, 2012. Fall 2012 is August 10, 2012
If you are interested in taking classes for personal enrichment or to improve job skills but you do not intend to receive a degree from NIC, you are considered a Non-degree Seeking Student. Non-degree students are not eligible for financial aid. You may enroll in classes in any of the following ways:

1. Online

• Complete the online application.

2. Mail

• Find your classes online using the online schedule or by searching for classes at MyNIC. Once you have entered MyNIC, select Search for Classes (no login).
• Complete the Non-degree Enrollment Form (also included in the printed class schedule) and mail it to:
  North Idaho College
  Registrar's Office
  1000 West Garden Avenue
  Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814

3. FAX

Follow the instructions for completing the Non-degree Enrollment Form in section 2. Mail and FAX to (208) 769-3399.

4. In-Person

• Complete the Non-degree Enrollment Form and take it to:
  Registrar's Office
  Lee-Kildow Hall
  North Idaho College
  1000 West Garden Avenue
  Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814
• An enrollment statement will be mailed once your registration is complete.
• Check the college calendar for registration dates.

5. Pay Tuition

Pay by cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard. Payment can be made through MyNIC with a Visa, MasterCard, or debit card. More information ...

6. Purchase Books

Books can be purchased at the Mica Peak Exchange in the Student Union Building or on-line at www.bookstore.nic.edu.
