Steps for
Non-Degree Seeking Students

If you are interested in taking classes for personal enrichment or to improve job skills but you do not intend to receive a degree from NIC, you are considered a Non-degree Seeking Student. Non-degree students are not eligible for financial aid. You may enroll in classes in any of the following ways:

1. Online

Complete the online application.

2. Mail

Find your classes online using the online schedule or by searching for classes at NICOnline. Once you have entered NICOnline, select Search for Classes (no login).
Complete the Non-degree Enrollment Form (also included in the printed class schedule) and mail it to:

3. FAX

Follow the instructions for completing the Non-degree Enrollment Form in section 2. Mail and FAX to (208) 769-3399.

4. In-Person

Complete the Non-degree Enrollment Form and take it to:

North Idaho College
1000 West Garden Avenue
Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814
An enrollment statement will be mailed once your registration is complete.
Check the college calendar for registration dates.

5. Pay Tuition

Pay by cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard. Payment can be made through NICOnline with a Visa, MasterCard, or debit card. More information ...

6. Purchase Books

Books can be purchased at the Mica Peak Exchange in the Student Union Building or on-line at www.bookstore.nic.edu.
