Before Classes Start Checklist:

1. Meet with your academic advisor
   • New Students - Register for OARS (Orientation, Advising, and Registration Session) once steps 1-3 are completed from the Steps for New Students or Steps for Transfer Student checklists
     • Contact the Admissions Office at 208-769-3311
   • Former Students: Set-up an appointment with an academic advisor once steps 1-2 are completed from the Steps for Former Students checklist
     • Contact Advising Services at 208-769-7821
2. Sign up for relevant student services
   • TRIO
   • Center for Education Access
3. Get Financial Aid in order (see Financial Aid Process)
4. Buy parking permit
   • Purchase at: Parking Services [Headwaters Complex B] or when attending OARS (Orientation, Advising, and Registration Session)
5. Pay tuition
   • Payment can be made online using MyNIC or at the Student Accounts office [Lee-Kildow Hall]
6. Purchase books
   • Once registered take a copy of your class schedule to The Mica Peak Exchange [Edmister Student Union Building] or buy books from them online
7. Print your class schedule and find your classes
