American Indian & Minority Student Support

2nd Floor, Edminster Student Union Specialized support is available to students from diverse backgrounds. A qualified advisor is available to identify individual needs and sources of support. Support may include assistance with scholarships, enrollment, academic advising, tribal support, cultural resources, and campus clubs.
Career Center 2nd Floor, Edminster Student Union Provides high quality, responsive career counseling, resources, and education, to help ensure your education is purposeful, to assist you in choosing and achieving meaningful career and life goals, and to increase your lifelong opportunities for success.
Center for Educational Access Seiter Hall, Room 207 Assists students to achieve their educational goals by facilitating accommodation requests for students who are experiencing classroom and programmatic barriers due to a documented disability.
Center for New Directions Siebert 103 Is your contact for educational or career assistance, personal counseling, or community resources. Individual counseling is free of charge.
Financial Aid Lee-Kildow Hall, Room 104

Assists students in obtaining funds to pay for tuition and other educational costs incurred while attending NIC.

Health & Counseling Services 2nd Floor, Edminster Student Union Our nurse practitioners are specialized providers in the area of college health with an extensive background in general health care services. Our counselors can provide direction and support for enrolled students who want help managing the demands of college and personal life.
Professional-Technical Support Hedlund, Room 145 Provides services and resources for applied technology students prior to and during enrollment in a technical program.
Registrar’s Office 1st floor, Lee-Kildow Hall Handles transcript requests, curriculum changes, name or address changes, adding/dropping of classes, and enrollment verification.

TRIO Student Support Services 2nd Floor, Edminster Student Union Is a federally funded academic assistance program with the goal to help participating students to successfully complete their course of study at North Idaho College and transfer to the four-year college or university that will best meet their academic and career goals.
Testing Center Timber Hall Provides a secure, quiet environment to facilitate a pleasant test taking experience for the student.
Veteran’s Benefits 1st floor, Lee-Kildow Hall (inside the Registrar’s Office) Assists students who are eligible to receive VA benefits.
