Cardinal Booster Club

The NIC Booster Club is an organization of sports fans, business and community leaders committed to raising scholarship funds for North Idaho College students athletes. Booster Club memberships provide funds to aid all student athletes, and form the base for community support of NIC's athletic programs.

Mission Statement

The North Idaho College Booster Club is a non-profit organization, committed to providing financial support to all recognized intercollegiate athletic programs at NIC through various fund-raising and endowment activities for student athlete grant-in-aid and team benefits. Organized in the 1960s, the Booster Club supports all NIC recognized intercollegiate athletics as a lifelong learning experience that will enhance the value of sportsmanship and provide a positive experience for student athletes, students, and fans. The club also recognizes the commitment our athletes make to the young people of our community through our athletic Cardinal Kids outreach programs.

The Booster Club holds various fund-raising events throughout the year including an annual auction, awards banquet, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, and golf tournament. It also sponsors a booth each year at the North Idaho Fair and operates a concession stand in Christianson Gym. For more information or to become a member, contact the Athletics office at (208) 769-3348. Meetings are held each Tuesday at noon in the Shore Lounge at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. The last Tuesday of each month the meetings rotate to local restaurants and feature special guest speakers - please check the Events page for more details.

Meetings

The NIC Booster Club meets on the second and last Tuesday of the month. The meeting on the second Tuesday of the month will feature a guest speaker from the sports or business community and will be held at the Outback Steakhouse, or sometimes another local restaurant, at noon. The meeting on the last Tuesday of the month will feature NIC coaches and student-athletes with an emphasis on in-season sports and will be held at the Coeur d’Alene Resort’s Shore Lounge at noon.

    Four reserved seats for athletic season and six general admission season passes, quarter-page ad in programs, and listing on posters
  • Silver Club $1,500
    Four reserved seats for athletic season and eight general admission season passes, half-page ad in programs, and listing on posters
  • Gold Club $2,500
    Four reserved seats for athletic season and eight general admission season passes, lighted sign (east end of gym, lower level), half-page ad in programs, listing on posters, Hospitality Night host, and 3-on-3 backboard/court
  • Platinum Club $5,000
    Eight reserved seats for athletic season and four general admission season passes, lighted sign (east of gym, lower level or scoreboard, subject to availability), full-page ad in all programs, listing on posters, Hospitality Room host, 3-on-3 backboard/main courts, table sponsor at annual auction with eight tickets, and two NIC Cardinal jackets

Children age 10 and under attend all athletic events free of charge.

Individual and business memberships outside of a 25-mile radius of NIC can become members for $50 and receive five single event passes.
