  • SOFTBALL: NIC offers summer softball camp

    Room is still available for players ages 8-18 to sign up for the North Idaho College’s Cardinal Heat pitching and position play skills camp July 26-29 at Finucane Park, located on the northwest corner of Prairie Avenue and Fourth Street in Hayden. NIC head softball coach Don Don Williams and NIC players as well as guest camp instructor Paige Smith will lead the camp.

  • SOFTBALL: NIC's Alyssa Hawley signs with Stony Brook University

    North Idaho College softball player Alyssa Hawley has signed to play for Stony Brook University in New York next season. Hawley, a sophomore outfielder from Spokane, Wash., received first team All-Region 18 honors last season while compiling a .358 batting average.

  • SOFTBALL: NIC softball player named NJCAA All-American
    6/2/2010
    North Idaho College softball player Amanda Krier of Coeur d’Alene, was recently selected as a National Junior College Athletic Association first team All-American. Krier is one of 15 players from across the nation to earn this honor and only the second player in the history of the NIC softball program to earn first team All-American honors.
