NIC selects Frohlich as head volleyball coach

The North Idaho College Athletics Department announced that Coeur d’Alene native and former assistant and interim head coach at the University of Montana Colleen Frohlich was named as the new NIC head volleyball coach.

NIC head volleyball coach to take position at Division I school

North Idaho College head volleyball coach Chris Kosty has announced his resignation to take the position of assistant volleyball coach at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. Kosty coached at NIC for three seasons, one as an assistant to former head coach Bret Taylor and the last two seasons as head coach.

Several North Idaho College volleyball players recently earned National Junior College Athletic Association All-American honors for the 2009 season. Marketa Hanzlova (left), a 6-foot, 1-inch outside hitter from Liberec, Czech Republic, was named to the NJCAA All-American first team.
