NIC women’s basketball player earns academic honors

North Idaho College women’s basketball player Mariana Lamperti, a 5-foot-10-inch wing from Brazil, has earned National Junior College Athletic Association Academic All-American honors. Lamperti graduated from NIC in May with a 3.88 grade point average.

The North Idaho College men’s and women’s basketball staff is encouraging area youths to utilize summer break to improve their basketball skills. The North Idaho Boys Basketball Skills Camp June 14-17 is open to all school-aged boys.
