2006-2007: Thielen is returning to the Cardinal lineup after tearing her Achilles tendon during the first practice last year. In 2005-2006, she was the only freshman in the conference to be named to the Scenic West Athletic Conference All-Tournament team. She also earned SWAC Player of the Week honors. She was in the top 15 of SWAC players in six different categories including eighth in scoring at 10.9 per game, 12th in rebounding at 5.4 per game, and 11th in field goal percentage at 38.7 percent.
High School: Thielen averaged 15 points, seven rebounds, and six assists per game while shooting 41 percent from the floor her senior year of high school. She was named team captain, Most Valuable Player, and Top Female Athlete for her school. She also earned the Hustle Award for her team. She was named to the honor roll her junior and senior years and graduated with honors.
Family: She is the daughter of Brian and Daralyn Thielen. She has three siblings, Mitch, 27, Brett, 25, and Chase, 21.
Hobbies: Thielen enjoys wakeboarding, running, and rollerblading.
