2007-2008: McKean played a major role with the Lady Cardinals last season. She started eight games and played almost 20 minutes per game while scoring 7.2 points and hauling in 4.4 rebounds per game. She has learned to face the basket and is expected to be a tough player in the Scenic West Athletic Conference this season.

High School: As a senior, McKean earned first team defense and second team offense honors for the 4A Columbia Basin League in Washington. In addition, she received her team’s Coaches’ Award. As a junior, McKean was named honorable mention All-League in the Big Nine Conference. McKean also placed at the state swim meet all four years of high school, finishing as high as sixth her junior year. She was honored as the Tri-City Herald All-Around Athlete her freshman year. Academically, McKean was a member of National Honor Society and was on the honor roll.

Family: She is the daughter of Luke and Karla McKean. Her siblings include 35-year-old Jeromy, 30-year-old Marshall, 28-year-old Collin, 23-year-old Lauren, 21-year-old John, and 19-year-old McKenzie.

Hobbies: McKean enjoys reading, snowboarding, and family get-togethers.
