#1: Improve network and
systems security via consultation, best practice adoption, software
acquisition and standards creation. Secure and simplify directory
systems. Ensure adequate staff or reallocate staff resources. #2: Acquire and implement all communications infrastructures for Bonner's Ferry Center and other outreach centers funded from the State. #3: Develop a transition plan to replace the voice switch (PBX) and bring the benefits of IP telephony to the college's communications. #4: Ensure business continuity and information availability via improvements in the file management, backup and restore processes. Obtain Internet access from multiple sources to improve uptime. #5: Research available options to lower regional WAN circuit costs if possible.
