| 2006-2007 Instructional Computing Goals |
|
#1: Develop and continue
instructional computing support for program initiatives at the Bonner's
Ferry Center and other outreach centers. #2: Revise the wireless rollout plan to emphasize instructional needs. Extend secure wireless network access in classrooms, labs and public areas for instructional computing uses at all North Idaho College facilities. #3: Promote the use of the Employee Leaning Facility (ELF) with faculty to improve the use of standards-based presentation and web learning resources. #4: Continue the instructional technology purchases and implementations as prioritized by Instructional Council. #5: Improve planning for instructional uses of IT by coordinating efforts in the divisions and IT support departments. #6: Participate in at least
two (2) projects with partner institutions over the Avista Virtual
Possibilities Network (VPNet) to obtain the benefits of high-speed
voice, data and video networking. |
