These various document types and sizes require a cohesive, coordinated, centralized interface that will enable staff to post documents, as well as quickly retrieve documents in a collaborative online library environment.	This is a backburner project that will serve as a prototype/pilot for the SharePoint Initiative project (#268).

Two things are needed for a portal to become reality: 1) organizational recognition of the benefits provided by a portal (requires business case and cost/benefit study), and 2) funding. Now that these two things are happening in FY08, this project will begin later in FY09 based on the timing of a project plan being developed in the summer of 2008.	Start date coincides with initial Project Leader Team meeting.
