Reflection Software

Reflection is a terminal emulation software program that allows access to the HP3000 system (Student Information Module).  When an installation or upgrade is made on a user's system, it is then charged back to the department (currently $79.00/ea).

Long distance calls are tracked through a web-based Call Accounting System (eCAS) and then charged back to various departments each month.  Call Detail reports are sent by e-mail to department staff or managers immediately after a month closes.  The message includes a URL link to the server, a username and password.

The college's phone services fall under statewide contracts with AT&T (long distance, direct-dialed and dedicated circuits) and WorldCom (toll-free, non-dedicated lines).  These contracts are initiated through the State Department of Administration for a two-year period with three renewal periods upon mutual agreement (State of Idaho Dept. of Admin).
