Phone Types

NIC utilizes Cisco 7900 series IP Phones.

There are two different types phone hardware on campus: 7941 two button phones, 7961 6 button phones.  There are also some Unity analog phone units on campus, but they are not common.  Listed below are the details and one-time cost for each digital phone type:

VoiceMail

The college's voice messaging system is called Unity.  This system is linked to the the college Email system and allows employees to send/receive voice mail messages from within their Outlook account.
