New Service To initially request phone services or to make changes to an existing account, you'll need to complete an Account & Computing Request form. Phone Types NIC utilizes Lucent Definity voice terminals (phones). There are three different types of digital phones on campus: 8403, 8410B, and 8410D. There are also some Unity analog phone units on campus, but they are not common. Listed below are the details and one-time cost for each digital phone type:
Follow this link for information on how to use the phones. VoiceMail The college's voice messaging system is called AUDIX. This system allows employees to receive voice mail messages from any touch-tone phone and to send voice messages to one or more recipients within the college. For user instructions, please follow this link: Long Distance The college's phone services fall under a statewide contract with AT&T (long distance) and WorldCom (toll-free).
