Phone System

NIC utilizes Lucent Definity voice terminals (phones).  There are three different types of digital phones on campus: 8403, 8410B, and 8410D.  There are also some Unity analog phone units on campus, but they are not common.

NIC Voice Mail System

Our messaging system allows NIC employees to receive voice mail messages from any touch-tone phone and to send voice messages to one or more recipients within the college. There is a comprehensive help system that "talks you through" its layers of menu options.  Listen carefully.  If you need more information, simply listen to the system prompts or press [*H] to get HELP.
