English Composition

This course provides instruction in the research and writing skills and processes. Students will learn methods for gathering, evaluating, synthesizing, and documenting a range of sources in support of expository and argumentative essays. Emphasis is on critical thinking and writing clear, concise, and effective prose. The course is required for all transfer degree programs Lecture: 3 hours per week
