Internetworking 1 Lab

This course covers the fundamentals of networking protocols and processes, building an in-depth understanding and a foundation in these protocols. This course introduces the architecture, structure, functions, components, and models of the internet and other computer networks. It uses the OSI and TCP layered models to examine the nature and roles of protocols and services at the application, network, data link, and physical layers. Lab work is designed to simulate real-world internetworking. This course introduces students to the networking field. Concurrent enrollment in CITE-171 is required.
