Biography

Hello! My name is Kristin Pederson and I teach Child Development here at North Idaho College. Child Development is a true passion of mine and I have worked in the field of Child Development and Education for 19 years!

I have my BA in Child Development from Washington State University, my Masters in Education from Washington State University, and my Education Specialist in Administration from University of Idaho. I started out working at the WSU Children’s Center and Sunnyside Preschool in Pullman, Washington. After obtaining my Masters in Education I worked for six years, teaching Kindergarten, third and fifth grade, here in the Coeur d’Alene School District.  During that time I received my Education Specialist degree in Administration from University of Idaho.  Teaching at the collegiate level has always been my career goal and I am thrilled to be an here at North Idaho College.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding the Child Development classes here at North Idaho College!

My very best,
