Students are expected to use their NICMail account for all official communications with NIC.
As a new NIC student you will be given an e-mail account Monday after you register for classes. This e-mail account will be used by faculty to connect with students enrolled in their classes and for college offices to notify students of important announcements. NICMail is managed via Microsoft Exchange Labs.
Activate Your Account
Read the following instructions, launch NICMail by clicking the button below, and use the instructions to sign in:
- Sign in, do not Sign up. Your account is ready for you.
- In the Windows Live ID field, enter your: first initial, middle initial, last name@students.nic.edu. For example: John W. Smith would enter jwsmith@students.nic.edu.
- In the Password field, enter: "nic" plus your six-digit birthdate. For example: a birthday of 12/31/08 would be nic123108. You are required to change your password after your initial login. Be sure to complete your secret questions to help you remember your password in the future.
- Click the "Sign in" button.
