8 a.m. Welcome and Keynote - Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center
Keynote Speaker: Deanna Davis, Ph.D.
Living With Intention, Laughing With Conviction
Sometimes life can feel like a crazy cocktail – shaken, not stirred. We get tired. And stressed. And overwhelmed.
But there's hope. It's hope that comes from choosing powerful mindsets, using practical strategies,
and building meaningful connections that create more momentum and better outcomes at work and at
home. It's about living with intention—making a choice each day about how you want to design your life experience.
And it's about laughing with conviction—because it's your sense of humor that helps you weather
even the most chaotic times with less stress, without losing so much sleep, and with some of your sanity left
to spare! Join us for the Employee Day keynote session to learn some inspiring and practical strategies for
living with intention and laughing with conviction.
Deanna Davis, Ph.D., is the author of three best-selling books, "Living With Intention," "The Law of Attraction in Action," and "Laugh, Cry, Eat Some Pie." She is also an accomplished professional speaker with more than 20 years of experience, a leadership coach, consultant, and entertainer. Known for her characteristic blend of humor and how-to, Davis blends cutting-edge research from the disciplines of positive psychology, mind/body health, neuroscience, and leadership with practical strategies for creating extraordinary success and satisfaction in work and in life. She holds a Ph.D. in leadership with a focus on positive psychology and a Master of Public Health Degree with a focus on health promotion. Davis advocates personal and professional change using "the big power of small," since small changes, small steps, and small investments lead to big—and lasting—results over time.
