IELP offers two special features to its students. First, all IELP students meet one-on-one with their writing instructor to review and discuss the grammar and style of their written assignments. This is important because good writing skills are essential in academic classes and in overseas employment that requires knowledge of English. Second, IELP Advanced students attend an academic class at NIC where they are able to participate in discussions and form friendships with American students.

NIC’s program teaches three levels of fluency: Intermediate I, Intermediate II, and Advanced. Students study and practice the following subjects:

Core (All levels) Advanced
Speaking/ Conversation
Listening
Reading
Vocabulary
Writing
Writing Conferences
Grammar
Pronunciation/ Public Speaking
TOEFL Preparation
Listening/ Academic Class
