Sterling Silver Award
About
The North Idaho College Employee of the Month Sterling Silver Award provides is a wonderful way to identify and recognize NIC staff and faculty who demonstrate exceptional performance and give more to the college community than is normally expected. The award is given each month with the Sterling Silver Committee making the final selection. All employees are eligible to receive the award, regardless of time of service. Students, faculty, and staff may all make nominations. Each month, the most outstanding nomination will be chosen by the Sterling Silver Committee.
The winner of the Sterling Silver Award will be congratulated with a surprise presentation by members of the Sterling Silver Committee, NIC president, fellow employees, students and a representative of Numerica Credit Union.
The Sterling Silver recipient will receive the following at the presentation:
- $100 cash, presented by Numerica Credit union
- A recognition plaque, priovided by NIC
- A copy of the nomination form, provided by NIC
- A campus parking space of recipients choice for one month, provided by NIC
- A $40 gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse, provided by Numerica
To encourage participation, everyone who submits a nomination will be entered into a drawing for a $200 prize priovided by Numerica. The winner will be announced at the end of the Spring Semester.
