Identification Cards
Acquisition
North Idaho College students and employees may acquire an identification card at the Molstead Computer Lab ("MLCC"). The MLCC is located on the second floor of the Molstead Library (Number 23 on the campus map).
Students must show proof of current registration and a photo ID to obtain an ID card and or current semester sticker.
Employees must show a signed "Identification Request Form" to obtain an ID card. Appointments for employees during off hours may be made by contacting the Lab Supervisor at extenstion 3380.
Fees
- New student/new employee: $0.00
- Lost or stolen replacement card: $10.00
- Update card: $5.00 with the old ID card
Usage
NIC identification cards provide access to numerous areas on campus, as well as free or discounted admission to a variety of events. You must present your ID card to check out library books, use the computer labs, check out gym equipment, or rent equipment in the Student Union Activities Center and Outdoor Pursuits. There may also be other opportunities for discounts with presentation of your ID card (restaurants, retail stores, ski areas), so remember to ask local businesses.
This ID card should be kept with you throughout your time at North Idaho College. Student ID cards are the property of North Idaho College and the use of this card is governed by college rules and regulations. The card is nontransferable and must be presented to college officials upon request.
Hours of Operation
Hours of Operation are per semester. All holidays and campus closures are observed. Special off-hour dates and times between semesters will be posted in the Molstead Computer Lab, on the NIC Website, or in the MyNIC portal. Please check these resources before coming on campus.
