EBSCOhost Databases

EBSCOhost offers the largest range of coverage in news, popular magazines, and academic literature under one interface. Each database in EBSCOhost represents a different area of study or resource type (newspapers, magazines, academic journals, etc). You may choose as many as are appropriate to your topic and search them simultaneously.

ProQuest® Databases

ProQuest® provides access to several databases with an emphasis towards psychology and nursing. ProQuest® also contains a database of articles from major US newspapers and the Historical New York Times index, which contains images of articles stretching back to the early 19th century. This service presents it's own collection of psychology and health journals/news along with PsychINFO® (psychology) and CINAHL® (nursing/allied health).

WilsonWeb OmniFile Full Text, Mega Edition

Wilson OmniFile Full Text, Mega Edition provides access to full text articles, page images, article abstracts, and citations from thousands of sources (Full text of articles from over 1,750 publications and article abstracts and indexing from over 3,500 publications). Coverage back as early as 1982 ensures that every search is as deep as it is broad. Users have access to information on virtually any subject.

Wilson OmniFile Full Text, Mega Edition includes several individual databases covering a variety of fields all in full-text. Education, General Science, Humanities, Readers' Guide, Social Sciences, and Wilson Business databases are included.


Idaho State Library LiLI-D Databases

The LiLI Databases (LiLI-D) are online services providing full-text articles from magazines, professional journals, newspapers, and reference books free to all Idaho residents.

There's something for everyone - K-12 students, researchers, consumers - everyone! Best of all, LiLI is free to all Idahoans. (If you're not an Idahoan, check with your local or state library to discover similar database offerings they may provide).

To start using LiLI, get the password. Then login to the LiLI-D service. You'll find links to numerous databases covering a wide range of subjects.


CQ Electronic Library

This collection of databases provides access to information on public affairs, supreme court decisions, voting records and bahavior, and members of congress past and present. CQEL also includes CQ Researcher Online which explores a new issue each week that affects the political landscape.
