MEN'S GOLF: Cardinals fall to Lewis-Clark State College
10/13/2009
Lewis-Clark State College was too much for the NIC men's team to handle at the Warriors' home course. The windy and cold conditions played a large factor in the high scores. "I have never seen Quail Ridge play so difficult," NIC assitant golf coach Derrick Thompson stated. Again, Cody Mee played well at this event. Last year Mee was the medalist with a score of 67 and this year's 74 was a great score considering the conditions. Ben Johnson also played well scoring a 74 as well.
"We have a lot of work to do before our last event. We need to make sure that we end the fall season on a high note," Thompson said .
The NIC golf teams will end their fall season at the Central Washington Invitational at Suncadia Resort Oct. 19-20.
