MEN'S BASKETBALL: Cardinal men improve to 2-0

The fifth-ranked NIC Cardinal men's basketball team rallied for a 72-59 win against the North Idaho All-Stars. The All-Star team consisted of former NIC players that were all coached by NIC head coach Jared Phay. Renado Parker once again led the Cards with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Taylor Stevens added 11 points and Guy Marc Michel added 8 points and 8 rebounds. Logan Jones, who is recovering from knee surgery, sparked the Cards off the bench with 11 points. Sharpshooter Shea Bradshaw led the All-Stars with 18 points and Foluke Tobin added 10 points. The All-Stars led 37-33 at the half before the Cardinal rally.
The NIC men return to action Wednesday, Nov. 11 at home vs. Salish Kootenai College. Former NIC and Salish Kootenai student-athlete Tim Wolfe will be honored at halftime of the game.
