NIC women’s basketball player earns academic honors

North Idaho College women’s basketball player Mariana Lamperti, a 5-foot-10-inch wing from Brazil, has earned National Junior College Athletic Association Academic All-American honors.
Lamperti graduated from NIC in May with a 3.88 grade point average. In addition, she was selected as the recipient of the NIC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award this year.
Mariana is the daughter of Paulo and Sandra Lamperti.
