WOMEN'S GOLF: NIC women finish second at Wildcat Invitational

The women's golf team closed the fall season with a strong showing at the Wildcat Invitational.

Ashley Burke set two school records with her play at the invitational. Burke shot a second round score of 79, setting the school record for lowest round. She also had a two-day total of 162, which was the lowest two-day total in NIC history. Her 162 put her in second place individualy, one shot off the win.

"Ashley played great over both rounds," said NIC head golf coach Randy Boswell. "She has proven to be a great asset to our team with her consistent play. The great thing about Ashey is I believe her best golf is still ahead of her."
