WRESTLING: Cardinals earn 600th win

The NIC Cardinals logged their 600th dual win with a dominant 36-6 victory over Montana State University-Northern. The Cards wrestled hard and came out on top of 8 of 10 matches. Kyle McCrite lost in overtime to Sean Costello 10-8 and Celic Bell battled second-ranked Evan Hinebaugh but came up short 5-0. Kamron Jackson defeated 8th-ranked NIC alum and previous national champ Evan Mattingly 9-5. There were two pins on the night by Jesse Nielsen at 165 and Roger McCovey at 285. One of the most exciting matches of the night was at 133 Tracy Huffman was down three points with 15 seconds to go and reversed Shelstad of Montana State Northern to his back for five points and the victory.
