Troxel to speak at NIC Booster Club Luncheon

Van Troxel, head football coach at Lake City High School, will be the featured speaker at the North Idaho College Booster Club luncheon at noon Tuesday, Sept. 28 at Tony's Supper Club in Coeur d'Alene. Troxel has been the football coach at Lake City since 1994. Football is in his blood. Troxel's father Ed coached 11 years at the University of Idaho, including four as head coach from 1974-77, before passing away in 2001. Troxel's three brothers have also been involved in football through college and careers. The NIC Booster Club holds its regular weekly meetings Tuesdays at noon in the Coeur d'Alene Resort's Shore Lounge. The meeting is held at a different location on the last Tuesday of the month and typically features a guest speaker. The public is welcome to attend any of the weekly meetings.
