Open your heart to support NIC students

Open your heart to deserving North Idaho College students by attending the Open Your Heart Valentine's Dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 in the Coeur d'Alene Resort Convention Center. People will be dancing the night away to music by well-known local band the Fabulous Shadows, who perform rock-and-roll hits from the '60s and '70s. The event will also feature hors d'oeuvres, a no-host bar and '50s music by the The Bendover Sisters of the Silver Valley. All proceeds from the event will benefit the NIC Providing Opportunities—Fulfilling Dreams Community Campaign for state-of-the-art technology and equipment for the new NIC Health and Sciences Building. A group of volunteers with the community division of the campaign organized the event. Tickets are $20 per person, $35 per couple and $150 for a reserved table of eight. Ticket purchases are tax deductible and can be made at the NIC Foundation Office in Sherman Administration Building Room 104 on NIC's main campus or at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Business Center. Information: (208) 769-5978.
