Two free presentations will be held regarding free or low-cost health care coverage for children at noon and 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21 in the Echo Bay Room of North Idaho College's Edminster Student Union Building.

 

Pat Schwartz of the Kootenai Medical Center Community Outreach Program will discuss options with parents and assist them in applying for health care coverage for their uninsured children.

 

Those who may not have been able to qualify for free or low-cost health insurance for their children before may qualify now since the program has new higher income guidelines.

 

The workshop is sponsored by the NIC Center for New Directions and Student Health Services.
