NIC recreational sports coordinator passes national certification

|photo1|North Idaho College Recreational Sports Coordinator Paul Manzardo recently passed a national test certifying him as a recreational sports specialist.
Manzardo received the national certification at a recent National Intramural Recreational Sports Association conference in Orlando, Fla., after passing an exam that covers subject areas determined to be required in entry-level positions in various areas of recreational sports.
The certification was developed with the purpose of maintaining a high level of professional competence for recreational sports specialists and providing a means of identifying individuals who possess the necessary knowledge and expertise required in the field. The program is designed to promote the educational standards set forth for recreational sports professionals and to encourage professional growth and development of recreational sports personnel.
