NIC president selected to AACC executive committee
|photo1|North Idaho College President Michael Burke was recently selected to the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) Presidents Academy Executive Committee.
Burke was selected to the committee through a national election by administrators of community colleges. He will serve as the representative for the western United States.
The executive committee is charged with directing the AACC Presidents Academy, which focuses on the professional development of community college presidents and CEOs nationwide.
Burke is also serving a two-year term on the AACC Board of Directors, which comprises 32 members from community colleges nationwide.
