St. Maries/Worley classes still open for enrollment

Several North Idaho College distance education courses are still open for enrollment in St. Maries and Worley.

Child Health and Safety, a three-credit class, is available from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays at St. Maries High School. The class will be broadcast through interactive video conferencing technology to the satellite site in St. Maries.

Elementary Coeur d'Alene Language, a five-credit class, will be taught on site from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at Lakeside Elementary School in Worley.

Two dual credit classes recently opened for enrollment by high school students. Dual credit allows high school juniors and seniors to take classes for both college and high school credit.

Ethics, a three-credit class, will be offered at St. Maries High School from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Intro to Social/Cultural Anthropology, three credits, will be offered from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the high school.

There is still time to enroll in these courses as well as classes available on NIC's main campus. Fall semester begins Aug. 29.
