A cappella group The Standards to perform at NIC Sept. 24
The Standards, a group of five brothers originally from Twin Falls, Idaho, will perform in a concert Saturday, Sept. 24 to help raise money for North Idaho College athletics.
The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in NIC's Boswell Hall Schuler Auditorium.
|photo1|The brothers, who range in age from 23 to 32 and now live in Nashville, have been performing across the nation for more than 10 years in addition to producing five albums. The with their five-octave vocal range, the group performs music of yesterday and today, incorporating choreography, comedy and audience interaction into their shows. The music is performed totally a cappella, without the use of instruments of any kind; even the drum sounds are produced by the group's vocal chords.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students. All attendees must have a ticket, regardless of age.
All proceeds benefit NIC athletics through the NIC Booster Club.
Tickets are available in advance through the NIC Box Office in the lobby of Boswell Hall or in the NIC Athletics Office in Christianson Gym.
