Awards presented for NIC's United Way Chili Cook-Off

North Idaho College recently wrapped up its 13th annual United Way Chili Cook-Off as a fundraiser for United Way of Kootenai County.
|photo1|A total of 11 teams participated in the chili cook-off dressing, decorating and creating chili concoctions to the theme “Chili of the World.”
More than 200 people attended the event, which was judged by Jeff Conroy of United Way, Ann Beutler of Century 21, Gene Tillman of the Coeur d’Alene Inn and Craig Grimmer of Costco.
NIC employees are still donating pledges to the fundraising drive, so final numbers have not been tabulated on the amount raised during this year’s fundraiser. That announcement will be made later this month.
