Former Major League Baseball player to speak at NIC Booster Club luncheon
Former Major League Baseball player Jordan Robison will be the featured speaker at the North Idaho College Booster Club luncheon at noon Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Toro Viejo, located at 117 N. Second St. in downtown Coeur d’Alene.
Robison graduated from Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls before playing for two years at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. He finished his college career at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La.
After college, Robison was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 12th round and played for two of its minor league affiliates in New Jersey and Peoria, Ill. He played for two years in St. Louis before a shoulder injury ended his Major League Baseball career.
Robison currently works as a personal trainer at The Exercise Institute in Coeur d’Alene.
The NIC Booster Club holds its regular weekly meetings Tuesdays at noon in the Coeur d’Alene Resort’s Shore Lounge. The meeting is held at a different location on the last Tuesdayof the month and typically features a guest speaker.
The public is welcome to attend any of the weekly meetings.
