NIC athletics takes men's basketball/booster club to Post Falls


The North Idaho College Booster Club will follow the NIC men’s basketball team to Post Falls Tuesday, Dec. 13 for a special game and pre-game celebration.
 
The NIC men’s basketball team will face Spokane Community College beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Post Falls High School gym.
 
This season, the Cardinals are 1-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play and 11-0 overall.
 
The NIC Booster Club will hold a pre-game function from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Red Lion Templin’s Resort Hotel on First Avenue in Post Falls. The event will include refreshments and the public is welcome to attend to learn more about NIC athletics and the NIC Booster Club.
 
The NIC Booster Club is a nonprofit organization that provides financial support to all intercollegiate athletic programs at NIC through various fund-raising and
endowment activities for student-athlete scholarships and to benefit NIC’s athletics.
 
The NIC Booster Club holds its regular weekly meetings Tuesdays at noon in the Coeur d’Alene Resort’s Shore Lounge. The meeting is held at a different location on the last Tuesdayof the month and typically features a guest speaker. The regular NIC Booster Club meeting scheduled for noon Tuesday, Dec. 13 at the Coeur d’Alene Resort has been canceled.
 
The NIC Booster Club event is free and open to the public. Admission to the basketball game is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
